Thruxton 900 (2004-2015)

Thruxton 900 (2004-2015)

The model owes its name to the homonymous circuit located in Hampshire, a circuit where this model triumphed on several occasions. The first version with this name dates to 1965 and it was a cafe racer customisation on a Bonneville basis, with an accent towards racing. Since 2004 the British brand has included the Thruxton model in its range. Today it maintains the distinctive features of the cafe racers, the spoked wheels, the rear sets, the clip-on handlebars, the tail and the inverted cone terminals. The model in production until 2015 was fitted with an 865cc air-cooled twin-cylinder engine that developed 69 hp. It is a motorcycle still without electronics and controls, very direct and fun, with performance in its DNA.
