To mount the original BMW top case of the BMW R1200GS and R1250GS LC models on the R1300GS model equipped with the Vario top case rack you will need this adapter plate. By mounting this plate and the case carriers code 4002 it will be possible to use the complete set of 3 original BMW aluminum bags of the BMW R1200GS and R1250GS models on the R1300GS model.
